Meet Tyler
Tyler became the Student Pastor in December of 2025 and came to First Baptist Church from the recreation ministry staff of Second Baptist Church, Houston (North Campus). He is a graduate of Cy-Falls High School in Houston, Texas A&M University (B.S. in Sports Management), and Southern Baptist Theological Seminary (Master of Arts, Biblical Counseling). Tyler’s wife, Storrie, is a licensed professional counselor (L.P.C.) specializing in children and teenagers, 10-18 years old, and serves as a counselor at Counseling at Cottonwood Creek in Bryan. Here is a word from Tyler:
"Hello! My name is Tyler Denton, and my wife, Storrie, and I are so excited to have the opportunity to be a part of the First Baptist Church in Brenham team! We can’t wait to see what God is going to do in the lives of these students, and we are so thankful that we get to be a part of it. My prayer for the students is that they would know who they are in Christ, and that they would be surrounded by a community that helps them grow by challenging and loving on them."
